The Advisory Group will see LINZ adopt a new way of working in the High Country. It is the LINZ equivalent (at least for the South Island High Country) of the NZ Conservation Authority, with a recreational position on it.
We are proud to see FMC vice-president Jan Finlayson appointed to be a member of the group.
FMC has long advocated for the establishment of this group, hoping to improve the outcome of tenure review processes in the South Island High Country.
