No to Native Logging

FMC has submited firmly against bizarre proposals by the Grey District Council to log some of its native forest reserves. The proposals, which came with only the scantiest information, include forest on the shores of Lake Brunner and were also loaded with a suggestion that to save these forests they could be swapped with some Department of Conservation land for development.
