Protect what you love – Join the FMC Executive

Do you care deeply about protecting the wild places we all love and enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities? Do you have skills in policy, planning, law, governance, media, marketing or administration?

With growing threats to our environment and our freedom to roam, the backcountry needs your support now more than ever. If you’re passionate about these issues and have the skills to make a difference, we’d love to have you on board!

It’s that time of year again when we’re calling on FMC member clubs to nominate one of their own, or an individual supporter, to join the FMC Executive Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists from across Aotearoa New Zealand. Together, we tackle a wide range of critical outdoor recreation and conservation land related issues on both national and local levels.

Not sure what being on the FMC Executive involves? Check out our FAQs for prospective Board members to learn more about the role.
