Walking Access Act review

The Ministry for Primary Industries is currently seeking submissions on the review of the Walking Access Act 2008. The deadline for submissions is 2 July 2019. Click here for instructions on how to submit.
FMC wrote a comprehensive submission which is available here.
FMC remains strongly supportive of the Walking Access Commission, and would like to see it strengthened and better supported financially. FMC is also concerned about the composition of WAC’s board, and the lack of representation of recreational interests on it.
