‘Backcountry’ on its way

The 207th FMC Bulletin, with its new masthead ‘Backcountry‘ is on its way to subscribers around the country, with Te Araroa – Our National Trail featuring in the inaugural edition.

The FMC Bulletin  has been produced regularly since the 1950’s, with the current format, suitable for packing into the hills, introduced in the early 1980’s. Shaun Barnett, the current editor, took over the reins of the magazine in 2008 and has continued to shepherd it expertly, maintaining the FMC Bulletin’s reputation for well-written, interesting and authentic content.

Backcountry presents the same content in a fresh way, and is intended to help that content reach a wider audience, including the next generation of outdoors people.
