FMC has recently submitted regarding a proposed concession to be granted to NZSki to install a watertake from Lake Alta. This will require the presence of a digger in this area during parts of the coming summer.
FMC is not opposed to the pipeline, provided any environmental damage is remediated, but would like to see NZ Ski compensate the general public for their disturbance, and prevent future environmental damage, by installing a toilet near Lake Alta.
