Next Steps for Freshwater Submission

FMC Members know what rivers should look like, we see them in the mountains, when they are running free and clear. FMC strongly believes that New Zealanders deserve better when it comes to freshwater management. Rivers should be conducive to all forms of recreation and maintain their original biodiversity.

FMC has lodged its submission on the National Conservation Policy Statement (NCPS), which is enabled through the Conservation Amendment Bill and will guide all the area planning over public conservation land.
