Adventures with Emilie

In the summer season of 2021/22,
Victoria Bruce and her daughter Emilie (aged 7) will attempt the Te Araroa Trail.
FMC is pleased to be supporting this Mother-Daughter duo, who are the first such pair to attempt the trail. FMC’s support will be in the form of helping them share some of their stories and videos via FMC’s Wilderlife.nz blog.
You can see these stories when they are published here: www.wilderlife.nz/adventures_with_emilie/ and follow @adventures_with_emilie on Instagram.
We were drawn to this pair’s ethos: They are passionate about the mental health benefits of time spent in wild places and determined to inspire as many other kiwis to get out and explore our magnificent natural environments. Equally they see the value of FMC’s work in defending those environments and opportunities and want to convince others too.
Along the way, they will be raising funds for both the Mental Health Foundation, and the FMC Mountain & Forest Trust through a give a little page. We’re delighted in their efforts and proud to be supporting them in return.
We hope you can follow them and give your support to their adventure and mission.
